Bring Back Your Books!

It's that time of year when we have students return all their library books! Notices were given to students over the past couple of weeks letting them know what books they still had checked out on their accounts. Please, help your student(s) look for any books they may need to find.
The Hoffman-Lang Library at Hamilton doesn't charge any fees or ask for replacement copies of any book that cannot be found. Why? Because more often than not, books are located over the summer and find their way back into the library. All we ask is that students take responsibility and communicate with our team of library volunteers that they cannot find a book. We just need to know what books are missing so we can help look for a book OR so we know what books are in need of being replaced in the fall.
Sometimes Hamilton Library books get returned to the Chicago Public Library (and sometimes we get CPL books returned to us!) The public library's sorting system will send us back our books, just let us know if this may have happened so we are aware of the situation.
If you ever have any questions about missing books, you can always email our lead parent-volunteer librarian, Mrs. Erin Sanders at esanders24@cps.edu
Thanks & Happy Reading!
