CPS ACVA - Calling all student artists!
Applications for All-City Visual Arts (ACVA) are NOW OPEN!
This Year’s Theme: REFLECTIONS. What does reflection mean to you? It can be the way light bounces off a surface, an image in a mirror, a moment of thoughtful introspection, or something that reveals the nature of who we are. Reflections can take many forms- some are seen, felt, heard, or experienced. How can our reflections connect the past, present, and future? What can they teach us about ourselves, others, and the world around us? Now it’s your turn to get creative!
Whether you love drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, film, or digital art, CPS All-City Visual Arts wants to see your unique perspective!
How to Participate: Create an original, self-initiated artwork at home using your own materials. Take a photo of your finished artwork with the help of a parent or family member. Submit your artwork for consideration in this year’s exhibition! CPS ACVA is partnering with the Design Museum of Chicago to showcase elementary students’ artwork. Through this exciting opportunity, CPS students in grades K-12 can share their creativity in some of Chicago’s most iconic spaces!
Ready to share your art? Check out the submission guidelines below and APPLY NOW! We can’t wait to see your incredible creations!
